Engineer CV for the UK
Most engineering jobs in the UK do not need a licence, so employers focus on projects, standards and results. Two pages, achievements first.
Registration and visa
- Professional registration (IEng/CEng through a UK engineering institution) is optional for most jobs but a strong plus.
- A UK ENIC statement of comparability shows how your degree compares to a UK one.
- Overseas engineers usually need a Skilled Worker visa sponsored by the employer.
- On the CV: “BSc Civil Engineering (UK ENIC: comparable to UK Bachelor's degree)”.
