IT and software developer CV for the UK
UK tech recruiters scan for your stack, recent projects and impact. Keep it to two pages, no photo, with links to GitHub or a portfolio.
Registration and visa
- No licence or recognition is needed to work in IT.
- Overseas candidates usually need a Skilled Worker visa sponsored by the employer – check that the company is a licensed sponsor.
- State your right to work in one line: “Requires Skilled Worker sponsorship” or “Right to work in the UK”.
- Certifications (AWS, Azure, Scrum) help when the ad asks for them.
