Engineer CV for the Gulf (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar)
Gulf construction, oil and gas and infrastructure projects hire many engineers. Recruiters look for project types, sizes, standards and Gulf experience.
Licences and attestation
- Your degree usually has to be attested for the work visa.
- In Saudi Arabia engineers must be accredited by the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE); Qatar and the UAE also have engineering accreditation or membership steps for some roles.
- Mention a GCC driving licence if you have one – site engineers often need it.
- On the CV: “Degree attested (UAE embassy)”, “SCE membership: in progress”.
